JAMMU, JANUARY 11 (KNO) : Several members today raised the issues of public importance during Zero Hour in Legislative Assembly sought government’s intervention for early redress.
Mohammad Yousuf Bhat drew the attention of the Government towards shortage of drinking water and erratic power supply in some areas of Shopian constituency. He demanded early steps to overcome the problem.
Neelam Kumar Langeh demanded early repair of CT Scan machine in District hospital Ramban, which he said is non-functional for quite some time. He also urged for inviting the local legislator during the tour of the Ministers of their constituency.
Omar Abdullah demanded clarification about the 10th class result of pellet victim Insha Mushtaq. He said in newspapers her result was shown successful, while as per JKBOSE result she has been declared pass ‘but need improvement.’
Omar said that there was a dire need to revisit the result of Insha as she could not attended the Math Paper because of blindness. He sought to consider the marks obtained by her in Music Paper for the Maths paper.
Ajaz Ahmad Khan, Hakeem Mohammad Yasin, Ali Mohammad Sagar, Yawar Ahmad Mir and Mian Altaf Ahmed, demanded immediate revocation of attachment of Director SKIMS so that the striking employees of the premier health institution resume duty.
Calling upon the government to resolve the issue immediately, they said the health institution witness huge rush of patients, who are badly suffering due to the strike.
